Fossil Creek Stone is a quartzitic sandstone formed over 300 million years ago in the deserts of Eastern New Mexico. Formed by water deposits with a higher compressive strength (16,400 psi) and a lower absorption rate (2%), Fossil Creek Stone can be utilized in any climate and last for generations. It is a color consistent material, with its neutral beige to earth tone buff coloring. Beautiful natural cleft texture give flagstone a wonderfully appealing charm, combined with the strength and durability of natural stone.
Fossil Creek Fireplace Elements (Hearth, Mantel, Legs) offer durable, heat-resistant, and beautiful focal point for fireplaces, providing functional heat protection for floors and walls. They are used to frame the firebox with sturdy, non-combustible legs, and a decorative mantels for displaying items, adding significant home value and timeless appeal.
